We at ordinary are proud to announce the most intriguing and adventurous book signing and release party in New Haven! Perhaps the multiverse!
Join us Thursday, September 24th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, as ordinary hosts a most epic party and book signing event for celebrated author Stacey Strange’s latest work, "The Alchemists."
We are kicking open our ordinarily locked doors and suspending normal service for this exclusive fantasy event and meet & greet. (old school 2013 era ordinary first come first served/crazy pants bar service)
Stacey Strange will hold court in the Moose Lounge to meet and chat with hungry devourers of great literature. Signed books, freebies, and merch will be available, with a raffle for folks who buy or pre-order a book. We will feature special drinks and snacks throughout the event.
About The Alchemists:
Windermere College for the Ætheric Arts was founded to make magic accessible to anyone who can call Æther, but in the 300 years since its founding it’s become the perfect symbol for magical elitism: to get in one needs old money, old connections, or both.
Sebastian Allsaires is old money and old magic—a sportsman and a scholar. And Lily Perkins? Lily is a loner, and more importantly she’s cursed. Literally.
When they’re thrown together as lab partners for a year long Alchemy course they realize they have far more in common than meets the eye.
Together they uncover secrets both arcane and mundane about the founding of their school and the fabric of their society. What they learn just may bring them together if it doesn’t tear them apart first.

Stacey Strange is an author and circus artist specializing in the fantastical.
Her written work has appeared in numerous publications including A Practical Wedding and YANA Magazine, while her theatrical works Sherlock Holmes and the Sapphire Night, Layovers, and LOOM have toured across New England and received critical acclaim. Locally you may know her as the founder and creative director of Air Temple Arts, Connecticut's premiere aerial dance and circus studio.When she’s not writing or upside down she can usually be found playing pinball or making a mess in the name of creativity.
