What we drink in the shadows...

For years, we've loved transforming Ordinary every summer to celebrate the warmer months. We've previously turned our space into a big-top circus, the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks, a board game murder mansion, and various quirky Wes Anderson film sets.
This year, we're embracing the darkness. While many places offer patios, gardens, rooftops, verandas, terraces, decks, courtyards, balconies, or even windows and sunlight for summer, we don't. Instead, we're heading in the opposite direction and "vamping up" the oldest, coldest, darkest bar around for "What We Drink in the Shadows." This vampire-themed experience will run for the next four months.

This summer concept officially kicks off on Wednesday, July 9th, right after our vacation. Please note that Ordinary will be closed from June 29th through July 7th.
You can look forward to a lavish and delicious vampire-inspired menu featuring new cocktails and snacks. Here are some of the other exciting events coming up:
Psychic Cocktails & “I never drink… wine” on Wednesdays
Photographer Greg Shea’s Wet-Plate exhibition
The Dunce Macabre: a monthly vampire quiz with prizes
Installation by Weirdo Wonderland
Cocktail hour circus book signing with Betsy Golden Kellum
Tarot with a Twist! Speak to the spirits guided by Andy Morgan
Join us for "What We Drink in the Shadows" at Ordinary, running from July through October!

We'll be sharing more details as we get closer to each event, so stay tuned on the same bat channel at the same bat time!
